Does JG Vacation collect taxes?
No, we leave the tax collection up to the Host so they can have more flexibility with their pricing. We expect Host to be liable for their own payment of taxes. JG Vacation will not be liable for paying any taxes for the Host.
I never heard of JG Vacation, how can I trust this platform?
We have many Investors and Developers spent a lot of time and money working on this project to help the community (travelers and hosts) find a better solution to counter high prices from big corporation such as Airbnb, VRBO, and more. We are a startup company but have many properties in the state that are being rented out as short term rental. You can check us out on our Facebook page.

How come I can't use the same account as a Host and Guest?
Our platform is currently set up to have Host and Guest create two seperate accounts. A Host account can not book any reservation, the host will need to create a guest account if they wants to make a reservation. 
When will Host get payout?

JG Vacation will payout every Monday and Thursday. Host will get paid out 24 hours after check-in date. If the check-in date is from Wednesday - Saturday, then host will get paid out on Monday. Also, depending on your bank's policies, the money will be available in your bank account approximately five to seven business days later. If your guest is staying for a long term reservation, you'll receive your payout monthly for their reservation.

I see you have a discount option, how does that work for Host?
If you're a host and would like to have a discount code for special deals, you can contact us at [email protected] to request for a discount code. We will generate a discount code specifically for you. When you request for discount code, you can give us a specific timeframe of when you want to code to start and expire and the dollar amount or percentage.
Can Host import their booking calendar from other platforms such Airbnb and VRBO?
Yes, after your listing is approved by our admin, you can go into my listing, calendar, and import the iCalendar from Airbnb, VRBO, and more. And vice versa, you can also export JG Vacation calendar back to those platforms. The calendar will autoupdate every five minutes so if you have a booking from Airbnb, that booking will appear on JG Vacation calendar after five minutes and it will block out those dates.
How come I don't see any payout after my reservation?
Please make sure you add your bank account info and set it as primary after you list your property on the platform. If your bank info is not approved after three business days, please contact us so we can get it resolved right away.
Does JG Vacation has SMS notification when a guest book my property?
Yes, we have SMS notifcation functionality for when a guest made a reservation, cancel a reservation, request money, send money, etc. Please make sure you add your mobile phone number on your profile in order to receive SMS notification.
What if I see a software bug?
Since we recently launched this product, we encouraged everyone to report any bugs you see to [email protected] so we can get it fixed right away.
What are your fees?
Our fees are very low compared to the big corporation such as Airbnb, VRBO, and We charge Host 1% fee of each reservation. That fee will be automatically deducted from the Host payout. For Guest that making a reservation, we charge 7% service fee. This is to help pay for some of our vendor fees such as credit card processing fee, server fee, staffing and IT department.
Does JG Vacation offer damage protection?
Yes, we currently offer one plan for damage protection. Host can opt in for the damage protection plan $55 per reservation which will cover $3,000 of accidental damages. Guest will also have the option to pay a refundable $3,000 deposit prior to completing reservation. Host will have 48 hours after check-out to file any damages that caused by the guest. It will take 4-6 weeks to process for any damage claim that Host reported.
Can JG Vacation payout to Host in other form of payment instead of using Banking?
Please contact us at [email protected] and let us know your host payout preference. We might have to do a work around and do a manual payout if needed but the payout might take longer in that case.
Does JG Vacation do marketing for travelers?
Yes, we're currently running google ads and social media to advertise for both hosts and travelers.
